Performance data
During their time with us, children will be formally assessed at key points in their school career, in addition to ongoing daily assessment for learning. The results of the formal assessments are used by the Department for Education to measure attainment and standards.
As a small school with 27 children in each class, each pupil is statistically worth 3.7% in comparison to an 'average' two form entry infant school with 60 pupils per year group where each pupil is statistically 1.6%

Early Years Foundation Stage Assessment
In the Early Years Foundation Stage, children are assessed against the seven area of the EYFS. These assessments are made throughout the course of the year. At the end of the year, children are judged as to whether they have achieved a 'Good Level of Development' (GLD). To achieve GLD, children must achieve the early Learning Goal in the three prime areas of learning (Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Physical Development and Communication and Language) alongside the specific areas of Mathematics and Literacy.
